Ecco Design New Years Party

New York based industrial design firm, Ecco Design (http://www.eccoid.com/) hosted New Year's Party 2009 at their office and they do it every year. I went to the party in 2007 and this year and I found out that far less people attended. I think it must be influenced by the recession of the economy. Many of designers at the party told that it seemed worse than they imagined.
However, as NY times article shows, design is a solution for the depression.

SustainAble by Aaris Sherin

SustainAble: A Handbook of Materials and Applications for Graphic Designers and Their Clients

Author: Aaris Sherin

Sustainable design is gaining prominence as a pivotal issue for the future of contemporary practice at the best design schools and at professional design conferences.

Graphic designers and their clients are increasingly demanding sustainable solutions. Designers want to address these needs when presenting their work for consideration. As businesses continue to adapt to and provide environmental solutions with their own products, they are demanding it from their creative partners, and designers need to be on the forefront of these initiatives by being well informed.

SustainAble provides the information they need to be ahead of the curve on sustainability issues, inform them on sustainable applications and to approach the issue of sustainability in the areas of paper, printing, formats, materials, inks, and executions.

MoMA again

It has been always my favorite place with some reasons.
I feel free to be in MoMA and this is what I think Museum should be to people.

Now, special exhibition on Dali's painting is going and some others will be coming soon.

Again in USA (New Jersey)

This is a house where I will be staying for a month before I found new place for my family.

And it is quite close from Pal Park Broadway which is composed of Korean things.
Shila Jegua and other Korean restaurants are welcoming me.
I don't feel like I am in USA. ^^
